THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS

Ciprofloxacin is used to treat bacterial infections, such as: chest infections (including pneumonia), skin and bone infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), Urinary Tract infection, conjunctivitis, eye infections, ear infections.

MODE OF ADMINISTRATION

Oral

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to active or any excipient.

Patients having Diarrhea from an infection with Clostridium difficile bacteria, low blood sugar, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, low amount of magnesium & potassium in the blood, toxic psychosis.

WARNINGS

Do not exceed recommended dose

Keep out from reach of children

To be taken under medical supervision

Drug Interaction

Diabetes medications, warfarin and some dairy products.

Overdose

Feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting), Diarrhoea and a pounding or irregular heartbeat.
